I got to baby sit today!!!

I got to babysit this little cutie yesterday, so his mommy could go to the grocery store.  With all the flu going around, it is not a good idea to take this darling baby into a large store where there are many possible germs.
We had a very good time and he was so very good.  I changed several diapers and changed his clothes. I was able to give him a bottle of some breast milk and he took it very well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I got to spend with this little darling.

Technology, sometimes drives me crazy!!

I have been having trouble with my laptop and also with my internet.  I have had to change internet providers twice now, since we live in the country a few miles from town.  I love living in the country,  and we are only about 4 miles from town, but it seems that I get a good provider and then something causes it to not stay connected. I called my provider and they said it's the bandwidth.  Well in the explanation, it seems more people are using their service, so now my service is slowed down to a crawl.  This to me is very aggravating.  Paying my bill and not having good service. so I guess I will call again today and gripe to see if I can get some of my payment refunded.

Also, now i am typing this and it seems my blog will not show up correctly on my computer.  All of this is making me want to pull my hair out!!!!Just like this.  I typed the first part in large letters.  Never changed a thing and this is the way that it is typing now.  Oh, DEAR!!!!! I want to scream.  Ok, I have been ranting!!  Oh yes, with my laptop, it has not been working properly, so i did a system restore.  It works better, but maybe this is causing my blog not to show up properly.  Oh, dear!! what am I to do.

Blast from the past!!

I made some blankets for my aunts for Christmas, this year,  I made a collages of some pictures, old and new.  These pics mean a lot to me.  I love the picture in the middle of our house on the farm in Dalhart, TX.  My granddad came from Canada and bought a farm.  He went back and married my grandma in Canada  and brought her back to Texas to live.  I love the top pictures of my parents and their square dance group.  I love when my parents and grandparents went square dances at the old XIT Rangers club.  These pictures were taken there.  There are pictures of my parents camping in Cimmarron Canyon.  Mine and KB's families spent many weekend summers, in the canyon camping.  We also started taking our girls there when they were only a week old. They were both born in the beginning of summer and loved camping.  We all still love going camping to the lake or any campground.  There is a picture of my granddad with his hand on my mammaw's knee.  This really portrays  how they were everyday to each other.  So cute!!!  There is a picture of my grandad and Aunt Beth with a palomino horse.  We've always had horses on the farm and loved everyone of them.  Now my girls have their horses and dearly love them.  There are pictures of my Dad and his sister and more family.  Memories mean so much to me.

I'm So Excited!!! We have another GRANDSON!!

Everyone, Welcome to this world, Corbin Clay Radke.  Our precious Holly gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on December 20, 2013.  He made his entrance about 8:53 am.  I am not sure if this is the exact time, I will have to check with her.  He weighed 7 lbs and 2 oz.  He is beautiful!!  Corbin is such an angel.  We feel so blessed by God to have these beautiful Grandchildren.

I have not been consistent with writing on my blog, but I started reading a young girl that I knew from my home-town of Dalhart, TX. and it made me want to write some more on my blog.  I need to take the time and do some more writing.

Our first grandson, Wes, is 5 and in Kindergarten. I got to attend his first Christmas program this year and it was just perfect.  He is so much fun and quite the little man.  I got to sit between his mommy and daddy and as his class lined up to sing their first song, he reached over to the little guy next to him and scobbed his knob.  He actually rubbed his knuckles on top of his head.  His daddy looked at me and said, did you see that.  We both had quite a laugh about that.  His mommy recorded everything on video, so His KB and Gran and Mac got to watch it on the big screen at Wes' house!!  He was also dressed as a dancing Christmas Tree.  This was a pic from my phone, so it has the labels from my phone, I'm such an amateur at this blogging.  Really I'm just glad that I can add a pic.
I feel so thankful and blessed that God has granted us these precious two grandchildren.  We truly enjoy every minute that we get to spend with them.
KB has been suffering from the flu, but is finally beginning to improve. I have had a terrible cough, every since Corbin was born, and I'm finally getting it all coughed out of my system.  We both can hardly wait until we are completely well and we can see both of these precious boys again.  Happy New Year and Best Wishes to everyone for a fabulous 2014!!!!!!  Wes did get to come and stay with us, while his mommy and daddy went to the NFR in vegas this year!!!
